For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Predeceased by her beloved husband John Reeve (1987).

Survived by her son Michael and his wife Sue and her daughter Kimberly Storrey; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and her sister Roslyn Campbell (Malcolm).

Fioretti MarioFIORETTI, Mario  -  It is with heavy hearts that we announce Mario Fioretti died at home, peacefully in his sleep, on Tuesday July 3rd, 2018, at the age of 63 years. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend, Roseanne, his three children Silvia (Bart), David (Sara), Vanessa (Nick) and his three grand children Thomas, Eric and Aubrianna.

Moffatt DonMOFFATT, John Donald  -  After a rewarding life, and knowing he was loved by his family, friends and God, John Donald Moffatt ('Dint') passed from this world to the next on Tuesday, July 3. 

He was the son of Elizabeth and J. Melvin Moffatt and brother of Robert and Marjorie, who have gone before him.

Marie is the loving sister of Ruby (Elroy) Wideman and sister in law of Lorene Snider.

GELATA, Patricia 'Paddy' Gelata  -  (Longtime Employee - Bell Canada)  -  Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the age of 87.

Bailey ElizabethBAILEY, Elizabeth (Barker) - There is a beautiful song of faith that says “Goin’ home, goin’ home, I’m a goin’ home; Quiet like, some still day, I’m just goin’ home”.

In her 96th year on July 3rd, 2018, a quiet, still day, Mum went home to be with her Lord, and to reunite with her husband Fred and two of her sons, Allen and Harold.

As a child Elizabeth had many homes before settling with her parents in Fenelon Falls, ON. She arrived in Listowel in 1940, met and married Frederick Bailey and together they started a family.

Hillis RobertHILLIS, Robert Bradley Cameron  -  Born July 15, 1981 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, a leading Sea Man in the Canadian Navy died unexpectedly in a car accident on July 2, 2018 in Port Elgin, Ontario.

Robert is survived by his parents; Jeanette Slater Norminton and Robert Hillis, his spouse Montana, his children William and Lilly, his sister Kristy, his cousins Rebecca, Kristopher, Dena, Brittany and Sarah and numerous other family and friends. Also, his beloved dog Keena.
