McQUADE, Jean Marilyn  -  Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Nithview Home, New Hamburg. Jean was born 84 years ago in London, Ontario and was the daughter of the late Edwin and Florence Hiller (Hendrick).

Beloved wife of Gerald McQuade whom she married July 26, 1952. 

Cherished mother of Randy and Mary McQuade of Baden and Janice and Charles Deighton of Clarence Creek. She will be missed by her grandchildren; Russell and Lena, Connor, Jocelyn and Rob, Amanda, Autumn and great-grandchildren; Kayla, Logan, Madison, Tory and William.

Jean attended Plattsville Missionary Church. She loved providing for others and was a great host with her love of cooking and spending time with friends and family. Jean spent her time knitting sweaters and other items for her family, and enjoyed playing the piano and singing in the double trio at church. Her love, perseverance and faith will live on in all who knew Jean.

Family and friends may call at Mark Jutzi funeral home, New Hamburg, on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 6 – 8 p.m. The funeral will take place in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Gary McNitt officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
