For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Robbins GailROBBINS, Gail Lynn  -  At age 66, of Stratford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Gerald Robbins and the former Frances Fish. 

Dear sister of Donald Robbins (Maxine). Cherished aunt of Nancy and Lynn, David (Allen), Braeden and McKenna. Gail will also be missed by many loving cousins.

Predeceased by her brother Gerry Robbins, sister-in-law June Robbins and infant brother Kenny.

Gail proudly retired from the Royal Bank in 2015 after 45 years of service and will be fondly remembered by many staff and clients alike. After retirement, Gail enjoyed being able to spend more time in her award winning gardens.

Visitation at the W.G. Young funeral home, Stratford, on Monday, February 12 from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Rev. Meghan Nicholls will officiate. Interment in Avondale Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Stratford Perth Humane Society.
