For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Middeljans MargaretMIDDELJANS, Margaret  -  Passed away peacefully in the arms of her Saviour, at Innisfree House, Kitchener, singing with the angels on Monday July 9, 2018, at the age of 78.

Beloved wife of John for 57 years. 

Loving mother of Sandra and Paul Schoemaker, Eileen and Rick Hoekstra and John and April Middeljans. Cherished grandmother of Michelle, Lindsay, Natalie and David and their son Gavin, Lauren, Ben, Ryan and Aleida.

Will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters, Henry (Janet) Katerberg, Rita (Jim) Bosma, Gertie (Bert) Vandenhazel, the late Richard Katerberg, the late Jenny and her husband Harry Vellinga, Tina (Henry) Chattilon and Willy (Teresa) Katerberg.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Community Christian Reformed Church, 1275 Bleams Rd., Kitchener, on Friday July 13, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The memorial service will be held at the church on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Medendorp officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the fellowship hall of the church. A private family interment will take place.

In lieu of flowers donations to World Renew, Disaster Response Services or Innisfree House may be made.
