Left to celebrate her life and her love are her husband Gunter Jennrich, children Diana, Elena (Nick) Poutsoungas, Lynetta, David (Esmeralda), Robert (Helen).

Predeceased by infants Nicola and Emilio. Grandmother of Maverick, Alex, Phoenix, Ariel, Aaron, and Megan. Daughter of the late Anna Luierweert and Harry Derks.

Also missed by other family, relatives and friends. Your memory lives forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be at RATZ-BECHTEL FUNERAL HOME, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7 on Wednesday October 1, 2014 from 2-4 & &-9 pm.

Funeral Service will be on Thursday October 2, 2014 at 2:30 pm. in the funeral home chapel.

Cremation will follow.

Passed away peacefully at Countryview Retirement Residence on Monday, September 29, 2014, at the age of 89 years.

Ivan Bearinger was the husband of Ida (Martin) Bearinger for 64 years.

Father of Merle Bearinger, Marie and Floyd Horst, Leonard and Dorothy Bearinger. Grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Lovina Bauman, Annie and Emmanuel Bowman, Edna and Orlan Martin; and sisters-in-law Salome Bearinger and Eva Bearinger. Also remembered by David Brubacher. Predeceased by his daughter Grace Brubacher, parents Oziah and Susannah (Weber) Bearinger, siblings Lucinda and Noah Bauman, Cleason, Abner, and Elam; and brother-in-law Leonard Bauman.

A Family Service will be held in Elmira, on Thursday, October 2nd, then to West Montrose Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.

It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear wife, mother and grandmother, who passed away peacefully with family at her side on Monday, September 29, 2014.

Dearly loved wife of Stuart for 72 years. Born on December 23, 1923 to Henry Peter and Florence Jessie Mitchell of London, U.K. Loving mother of June (late Robert), Janis, and Josie (late Alfie). Proud Nan of Julie (Andy), Claire, Nicola and Peter, and Great Nan of Jamie, Sophia, Sam, Camron, Sophie, Lily and Aalia.

Dear sister of Peter (Doreen), Norman (Jeanette) and the late Ron and Tony (Betty). Survived by sister-in-law Ivy. Auntie Eileen will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews in the U.K.

Eileen emigrated to Canada in 1981, enjoying many years of retirement travelling in the U.S., wintering in Tucson, Arizona where they had many friends. In later years they made numerous trips back to the U.K. visiting family, which was a major part of both their lives.

Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held in Kitchener.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the KW Humane Society.

Proud grandma to Jeff Scott (Megan), Meghan Scott (Andrew Skelton), Caitlin Perkins (Matt Densa), Cameron and Claire Perkins. Dorothy was predeceased by her father Maurice Harper (1949) and her mother Marion Harper (1989).

Memorial Service will be held in Waterloo, on Wednesday, October 8th.

The family would like to thank Dr. Mel Cescon for 25 years of care, the staff at Parkwood Retirement Suites where she lived the past 5 years and the caring and compassionate staff at Columbia Forest LTC in Waterloo where Dorothy resided for the past 3 months.

Hill_JosephPassed away peacefully at Lisaard House Hospice in Cambridge with his family by his side on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the age of 90.

Predeceased by his beloved wife of sixty one years, Catherine 'Kay' Hill on August 19, 2014.

He is survived by his sons, Jim (Anna) and their two children Christine and Michael, and Cam (Iona). Also survived by son Ron Perrott (Elaine) of Sault Ste. Marie and daughter Arlene (Wayne) of Orillia, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. His brother Leo Hill and his wife Doris also survive Jay. Predeceased by brothers Bernard and Bruce.

During the Second World War, J.J. served in the Royal Canadian Navy for two years where he was involved in the Battle of the Atlantic. J.J. was a lifetime member of the K-W Navy Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #530, Waterloo. J.J. was a founding member of the K-W Lacrosse Association. He was recognized for his contribution by being inducted into The Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame. J.J. was a longtime employee of Wilfrid Laurier where he worked in the Athletic Department. In his retirement, J.J. found great pleasure in leather craft. Many people have told us they still have his hand-crafted items.

Memorial Service will be held in Waterloo, on Friday, October 3rd. Cremation has taken place.

A special thank you to Joyce and Lewis Leis, Monica and Carl Koehler and Grace Wagner who spent much time with J.J. in his last years. The family would also like to give a heart-filled thank you to Dr. Janet Zettel and the very caring staff of Lisaard House.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Lisaard House Hospice or the K-W Poppy Fund.

Steve was a retired member of the Niagara Falls Regional Police Service and security at Bruce Power.

Loving mother of Marijke (Ken) Baker, Albert (Bonnie) Schepers, Magda Schepers, Robert (Kim) Schepers, Nancy (Carl) Vervoort, Michael (Sandra) Schepers, and John (Cherri) Schepers. Cherished grandmother to twenty grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.

Ine instilled in her children an appreciation of literature, art, and travel. She will be remembered for her intrepid spirit and her zest for life. At the time of her passing she has family living on five continents.

Cremation has taken place in Guelph, Ontario. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Ine's life will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his beloved wife Laura Ann (Schwartz) who he married at Crosshill Mennonite Church on August 18, 1956. They have enjoyed 58 wonderful years together.

Loving father of Randy and his wife Mary Lou (Sauder), their children Trent & Kerry Wagler (Tori & Tanner), Jared Wagler & Katharine Henke (Ada, Eli & Lea), Shane Hallman, Melissa & Todd Metzger (Matthew, Katie, Ryan & Ben); Heather and her husband Stephen Nafziger, their children Jaime & Thomas Jacomen (Mya, Molly & Macy); Juanita and her husband Grant Nafziger, their children Thomas & Alycia Nafziger and Travis Nafziger; and Stephanie and her husband Marshall Roth, their children Nicholas, Chantel and Alexander Roth. Dear brother of Leander Wagler, Betty and Wallace Roth, Delphine and Lorne Zehr, Cecil and Reta Wagler,Herb and Shirley Wagler, Marlene and Edward Schwartzentruber, Keith and Ruth Wagler. Also remembered by brothers and sisters-in-law Irene Kennell, Florence and Lorne Metzger, David and Carol Schwartz, Wayne and Mary Jane Schwartz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Doris and her husband Seranus Kropf, sister Bernice and her husband Floyd Brenneman, sister in-law Beatrice Wagler, brother in-law Douglas Kennell, brother in-law Wilmer Roth, parents in-law David and Esther Schwartz and great-granddaughter Kiera Wagler.

Lester was a faithful member of Crosshill Mennonite Church, serving the Lord in many leadership roles. He appreciated and loved his church family. Skilled as a Refrigeration Mechanic, Les was a loyal employee at Zehrs Markets for 27 years. His quiet nature and quick sense of humour was treasured by his family and friends. Much loving time was spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation at Crosshill Mennonite Church, 2537 Hutchison Road, Crosshill, on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 pm, and Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service held at Crosshill Mennonite Church on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2:30 pm. Interment to follow.

Beloved wife and best friend of E. Brian Clark.

Dear mother of Elissa Newby-Clark (Ian) of Guelph, Erinn Clark (Steve Steers) of Toronto and Colin Clark (Darcie) of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Callum, Alasdair, Saya, Gemma and Norah. Sadly missed by her brothers David (Pat Solomon) of Ottawa, Bruce (Kathy) of Toronto, Alan (Richard Carrier) of Ottawa; her sister Jo-Anne Elder (Carlos Gomes) of Fredericton, NB and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant son Joel (1974). Diane touched the lives of many with her ministry, spiritual direction and friendship.

After graduating from McMaster University, Diane taught English and Latin at Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School in Baden, Ontario. She left teaching to raise her family when Elissa was born. She later went to Waterloo Lutheran Seminary and Knox College and was ordained in the Presbyterian Church.

Diane served for six years at Elmvale and Knox Flos Presbyterian Churches.

She began her Doctor of Ministry at St. Stephen's College, Edmonton, while in Elmvale. In 1994, Diane transferred her credentials to the United Church of Canada where she served Chalmers and Three Willows United Churches in Guelph. While at Chalmers, she helped the congregation establish the Fair Share Food Shelf, which later became Chalmers Community Services Centre. She also taught courses in pastoral theology at the Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax.

After retiring, she maintained a spiritual direction practice in Guelph. Diane loved knitting, gardening, sailing, her Shelties and, above all, her children and grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at Harcourt Memorial United Church, 87 Dean Avenue, Guelph, on Friday, October 3rd at 11 a.m.

Memorial contributions to Chalmers Community Services Centre or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.

Best Friend and soul mate of Janice (Fehrman) Horan.

Loving dad to daughter Holly (Mike) Bell. Proud grandfather of Korbin Bell. Survived by his sister Sandy Baker (George Raycraft), sisters-in law Nancy (Barry) Schmidt and Diane (Tom) Schulz. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews will remember the wonderful times with Dennis. Dennis was predeceased by his parents John and Clara (Welch) Horan, father and mother-in -law Cliff and Vera (Gaul) Fehrman and brother-in-law Gary Baker.

Janice and Holly would like to especially thank the wonderful nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Stratford General Hospital.

Memorial Service will be held in Stratford, on Saturday, October 4th.

C.

Predeceased by his parents Edmund and Florence Nutt, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Don was born in Toronto on February 28, 1930, and has lived in Cambridge for over 50 years.

Retired from Canadian General Tower, a member of Trinity Anglican Church, and the Cambridge Shrine Club.

A Memorial service will be held at COUTTS FUNERAL HOME 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Friday October 3, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. Cremation has taken place.

At age 98 passed away peacefully at Nithview Retirement Home, New Hamburg surrounded by her loving family on Saturday September 28, 2014. Born in Haysville, daughter of the late Willis and Edith (Roth) Weicker.

Predeceased by her husband Earl (Flanny) Strahm whom she married on June 28, 1941 and predeceased her on July 23, 2001. Marie and Flanny owned and operated Strahm's garage in Poole for 25 years where Marie was the postmaster, before they moved to Stratford, where they worked at the Stratford Agricultural Society until their retirement. Marie was also a very active member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and a Lifetime member of the Federated Women's Institute of Ontario.

Loving mother of Ronald (Elizabeth) Strahm of Stratford, Linda (Kenneth) Gerber of Wellesley and Susan (Bruce) Paleczny of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Steven Strahm (Kim Souch), Chris (Josie) Strahm, Matthew Gerber, Nathan (Sara) Gerber, James Gerber (fiancé Jodi Wildschut), Heather (Christopher) Hewitt and Deborah Paleczny. Great grandmother of Stephanie and Katie Strahm, Christian and Jakob Strahm, Joey and Koen Gerber and Kaitlyn and Michael Hewitt. Marie is survived by her two sisters Olive Fair and Violet Cook. Marie will be lovingly remembered my many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Marie was predeceased by her sister and her husband Irene and Wilfred Keutsch, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws Earl Cook, F.A. Fair, Bertha and John Meckbach, Carlton and Helene Strahm, Wilfred and Beatrice Strahm, Oliver and Margaret Strahm, Lloyd Strahm and Clair Strahm.

The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 115 Cambria Street., Stratford. Rev. Timothy Teuscher will officiate.

Wife of the late John Richard Allison: predeceased by her parents John and Laura Burke, Orangeville, Ontario, brother Clifford (Iva) Burke and sister Dorothy Burke; loving mother of Donald Allison (Marie) formerly of Conestogo, Pauline Spaetzel (late husband George) of Kitchener and Evangeline McLarty (Robert) of London, Ontario; dear grandmother of Laurie Tombs (Greg), Donald Allison, Jr. (Becky), Bradley Allison (Sue), Pamela Allison-Young and Kent Allison (Esther), Jonathan Spaetzel, Libby Blakely (Steve), Sonja Gerke (Jarrett) and Derek McLarty (Judy); great-grandmother of 14 and great-great-grandmother of 6.

Eva graduated from Toronto Normal School in 1927 and taught in Toronto, Mono Centre and Orangeville before her marriage.

The Funeral Service will be held in Kitchener, on Friday, October 3rd. A private interment will take place.
