Butler_JanicePassed away peacefully, on Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 68.

Beloved wife of 40 years to Philip.

Cherished daughter of Edna and the late Charles Bland, sister of Barbara (Dennis) Alexander, and sister-in-law, Margaret (Spike) Szczepanski all of England. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends.

For most of Janice's career, she ran her own interior design firm, Stirling Designs. She was a member of the Canadian Federation of University Women where she was active in the antiques group for 19 years, she was also a member of the Keppel Croft Volunteer Gardeners.

Memorial Service will be held in Kitchener, on Thursday, October 9th. Cremation has taken place.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the K-W Health Care Centre and Freeport Health Care Centre.

He was a quiet man, but when he spoke he was heard. He was a tall man, and when he entered a room he was noticed.

He was a family man, who leaves his wife Joyce, his children Peter (Ana), Alison (Jeff), his grandchildren Cynthia (Michael), Cassandra, Amy, Michael, Kye and his great grandchild Julian, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

David Bryden George was born in Kingston, Ontario, raised in Kemptville, Ontario, and graduated BSc. Agriculture from Macdonald College, McGill University. He retired from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food in 1994 and resided in Guelph.

A Funeral Service will be held in Guelph, on Thursday, October 9th. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Guelph General Hospital or to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

A loving husband for over 42 years, Ted is survived by his wife Anne and sons John (Kathryn), Ian (Heather), James (Erin) and David.

Predeceased by his father John, he will be greatly missed by his dear mother Betty and sisters Ruth Ann (John) and Mary Lou (David).

A proud grandfather of Evelyn, William, Emma, Jack and Abigail, he will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, cousins and large extended family.

Ted was quick of wit and loved life to its fullest. Having worked so hard his whole life, Ted made the most of his retirement. He travelled with Anne and explored and experienced the best of Canada, while wintering in the Sunshine State. The example he set for his sons will live on through them as his legacy.

A Funeral Service will be held in Guelph, on Friday, October 9th.

At age 63, of London and formerly of Stratford, passed away suddenly at LHSC University Hospital on Sunday October 5, 2014.

Son of the late Frederick Donald and Doris Evelyn (Kemp) O'Hara.

Survived by his sister Evelyn (Alexander) Bell of Burlington. Uncle to Bryant, Valerie (Chris) Goodfellow and Michael Bell. Great uncle to Madison and Sophia.

Besides his parents Edward was predeceased by his brother Rick O'Hara in 1976.

As per Edward's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held later in October.

Went peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 5, 2014. Sipke was born in Eestrum, Fr., Holland in 1928.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Hendrik and Trijntje Vandermeer, his wife Rowena, elder sister Anna Lanting (Herman - deceased), and younger brother Gerrit Vandermeer (Janie). Sipke is survived by his younger sisters Minke DeLeeuw (Jack - deceased), and Hilda Brent (Evert). Sipke will be remembered by 18 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Sipke came to Canada in October 1951 and settled with his family in Galt. He worked for many years at Artex Woollens, and was one of the first members of Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, when it began in 1958. In 2004, he moved to Holland Christian Homes in Brampton.

Service will be held in Cambridge, on Thursday, October 9th.

As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, would be appreciated by the family.

Also survived by 36 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Sister of Malinda (Clayton) Brubacher and Martha and Henry Frey. Sister-in-law of Salome (Alvin) Brubacher, Sarah (Nelson) Brubacher, and Ishmael (Katie) Weber.

Predeceased by her parents Osiah and Veronica (Weber) Brubacher, a grandson, four sisters and three brothers.

Friends may call at the home of Enos Weber, 6231 Beuhler Line, on Monday, October 6th, from 2 - 5 and 6 - 8 p.m. and on Tuesday October 7th from 1 - 5 p.m.

Family service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th at 9 a.m. at the home then to Weaverland Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further public service.

Beloved husband of Eva, loving father of Mark and Jennifer and doting grandfather to Maya. Treasured Brother to Macrena (Ena), Agatha (Merle) and Margaret (Maggie). Cherished Uncle of Cyril, Cheryl, Listra, Sandra, Dellis, Clyde, Carlos, Gary, Denise, Michelle and many others.

Forever in the hearts of all his extended family. Sadly missed as a friend and mentor to many in Canada and Trinidad.

Owen was a teacher with Waterloo County Board of Education, Elder at First United Church, avid sportsman and cricketer.

Horvath_JimIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Jim passed away peacefully at his home in St. Catharines on Friday, October 3, 2014, after a courageous struggle with Melanoma Cancer at the age of 85 with his family by his side.

Beloved Husband to Céline for 54 years and Father of Lisa (Wayne), Paul and André (Kathy). Proud Papa to four grandchildren Kyle, Shaelyn, Tristan and Ryan.

He will be missed by his sister Gabrielle Horvath Fischer, eight nephews and nieces, cousins in Hungary and by many friends and loyal customers.

Jim was born in Saskatoon by his recently immigrated Hungarian Parents. At an early age they moved to Division Street in St. Catharines. He travelled on the Queen Mary back and forth to Hungary three times from 1936-38. When WW2 broke out, Jim remained in Hungary and studied to be a Horologist until he received his passport to Canada in 1950.

He returned to St. Catharines where he opened a small shop on St. Paul Street called The Watch Clinic. Later he expanded his business to include clocks, watches and jewellery and moved to a larger store on St. Paul Street called Horvath Jewellers. In 1976 he sold the business to VandenDool Jewellers. He continued to repair Clocks, Watches and Jewellery from his home until 4 months ago. In 1974, Jim restored the Court House Clock in Market Square and maintained it until 2013. He also restored and maintained the Ridley Tower Clock and the Tower clock in Cambridge, Ontario.

He spoke Hungarian, German, and English. He loved to sing in the Hungarian, German and St. Julia Church Choirs. He had a musical ear and played the Violin, Piano, Accordion and the Cimbalom. He loved to travel to Hungary, cook and drive his 65 Thunderbird.

Arrangements out of St. Catharines. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue on Thursday, October 9th at 11am. Cremation to follow. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Beloved partner of Ben Cobb. Cherished mother of Alyson Marie Malda.

Loving daughter of Gilberto and Maria Dasilva. Sister to John and wife Lurdes, and to Maria Jose and husband Serafim.

Debbie was loved and will be missed by her nieces and nephew Kevin (Isabel), Christina, Jessica (Zakhele), Melanie and Sara, as well as her aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME,  Upper James Chapel, 1020 Upper James St., Hamilton on Sunday, October 5th from 2 - 9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 440 King St. E., on Monday, October 6th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Donations in memory of Debbie may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.

Of Toronto, formerly of Cambridge, passed away quietly, in the comfort of her home, on Thursday, October 2nd, 2014, in her 90th year.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Erdley McDonald (1993).

Loving sister of the late Anne Joyce (Fleming) Gray (2013) and loving sister-in-law of David C. Gray, of Cambridge.

Dear aunt of Jennifer Gray Charnoe and the late Zeera Charnoe (2011), Ted Gray and his wife Kathy, George Gray and Maria Kondor. Adored great-aunt of Hillary Gray, Tyler Gray and Lilla Kondor.

Also survived by step-nieces and step-nephews. June graduated from McMaster University and completed her Masters at McGill University.

She was the head of the Microbiology Department, at St. Michael's Hospital, in Toronto, from 1962-1989.

Gone peacefully to heaven with her family at her bedside, Audrey joined her late husband Joseph Edward McIntyre on October 2, 2014 in her 86th year.

Audrey is survived by her daughter Leslie Anne Condie and her husband Michael of Kitchener; Ronald and his wife Louise of Calgary; Bruce and his wife Karen of Renfrew, Ontario.

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Jennifer, Jeffrey and his wife Sara, Rick, Foster, Duncan, Shelby and Calista. She had the wonderful experience of spending time with her great-grandchildren Charlotte and Bennett.

She is survived by her sister Betty and her husband Edward of Scarborough; Ron and his wife Marianne of St. Mary's Ontario, and her brother Bill in Victoria, BC. She is predeceased by her parents James and Uretta Ferguson, and her sister Dorothy.

Audrey was a member of both the congregation and choir at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Kitchener. Audrey married Joseph in Toronto in 1953. They moved to Kingston for a short time before finally settling in Kitchener in 1956.

Audrey's family will receive friends and relatives at the WESTMOUNT FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener on Sunday, October 5th. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM -12:00.  There will be a Celebration of Life at 12:00 officiated by Rev. Janice Hamalainen.  A reception and a chance to share happy memories will take place at the same location.

Interment will take place at the Williamsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trinity Care Centre Bus Campaign would be appreciated.

A celebration of Al's life will be held at The Arboretum, University of Guelph, College Avenue East, Guelph, on Saturday, October 25th from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Beloved sister of Betty, Joan, Frank, Joy and John; sister-in-law of Grace and Ann; Aunt to Fred, Beth (Scott), Pam (Adrian), Deborah (Steve), Mark (Nancy), Wendy (Mark); and Great-Aunt to Christopher, Patricia, Kimberley, Liam, Rhys, Tori, Riley, Georgia and Aubrey.

Iona was a dedicated teacher at the C. E. Webster Public School and D.B. Hood Public School. Music was an important part of Iona’s life in both her schools and church, where she conducted children’s choirs. One of Iona’s favourite hymns was written by Fanny Crosby,

'Someday the silver cord will break,
 And I no more as now shall sing,
 But, oh the joy when I shall wake
 Within the palace of the King.

Chorus:

A private family graveside and memorial service was held.
