Beloved wife of the late Herman Drost (1996) and loving mother and grandmother of Betty and John Vanden Ende (Brianna & Jacky, Justin, Jonathan & Kacie) of Huntsville, Rob and Carolyn Drost (Brad, Kevin, Ashley) of Ayr, Dave Drost (Steve, Katelyn, Jaimie) of Kitchener, Donna and John Vandervelde (Lauren, Ryan, Jared) of Baden, and Carol and Peter Mellema (Kristin, Shannon, Julia) of Dunnville.

Patricia is lovingly remembered by her siblings Grace and Martin Duimering, John and Mary DeWeerd, Lucy and Dick Eigenbrood, Alice and John Luth and Ann (Ryan- deceased) Van Til.

Loving wife of the late Ronald Keeling (2014). 

Cherished mother of Jennifer Keeling (Steve Nice) and Jill Keeling (Robin Wheeler). Will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Jacob Openshaw, Ashton Openshaw, Tori Keeling and Sophie Keeling. 

Beloved sister of Dennis (Marlene) Loree; sister-in-law of Doug Maddick. Predeceased by her parents Ira and Rose Loree, brother George (Shirley) Loree and sister Shirley Maddick.


Geiger MarjorieGEIGER, Marjorie Jane (Welsman)  -  Passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 22nd at Beechwood Manor, age 89.

Marjorie was the beloved wife of Donald Geiger for 62 years, who predeceased her in 2013.

She is survived by her children Theodore (Margaret), Celia (Ged), Glen (Sarah) and Peter (Susan). Marjorie was loved by her grandchildren Bronwyn (Daniel), Rachael, Laura, Owen, Sydney, Jackson, Austin, Joseph (Rebecca), Michael (Kathleen), and Thomas (Nicole); and also loved by her great granddaughter Hazel.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Florence (nee Lazinsky 2003), his parents, Walter and Anna  (nee Shewchuk) and siblings Walter, Joseph, Stanley, Edward, Mary and Adela. Loving father of Mark, David and Paul.

Survived by his  grandchildren, Christie (Brandon) Doneff, Michelle Nowak (Dave Green), Rob Nowak (Stephanie), Greg Nowak, (Rachel), Olivia Nowak, and his great grandchildren, Jade and Carter Doneff. Brother of Frank Nowak (Marie) and Anne Dlugokecki.


vanAlphen Marinusvan ALPHEN, Marinus Hendrikus (Mike) van Alphen  - Born June 7, 1943 - Died November 21, 2017 in his 75th year in his home with family.

So young, so vital, so full of love and laughter.

He has Left Us All Following a vicious battle with prostate cancer – a battle which he demonstrated much courage, determination, gratitude and optimism.

Mike leaves behind his girlfriend Annette Eeles, his children, Paul (Barb), Jane (Steve), Andrew (Sherry), Doug (Mary Elizabeth) and grandchildren Isolt, Charlotte, Keegan, Matthew, Daniel, Stella, great grandchild Lalilia, and his siblings in the Netherlands Cor, Bets, Ad, Annie (Jos).


Ricci LuigiRICCI, Luigi (Gino)  - Passed away at the Elliott Community Guelph on November 21, 2017.

Luigi was born in Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy on July 2, 1933.

He was the beloved husband of Lina Ricci (nee Di Muzio) for 58 years. Luigi was the loving father of Claudio (Adriana), Sandra (Brent Hackett), Frank (Phyllis), and John (Bridget).

He was the cherished grandfather of Alex (Monika), Laura (Rory), Alycia (Geoff), Jason (Alli), Thomas, Karlina, Talia (Gage), Gabriel, Matteo, and Alexandra and step grandfather of Gisella (Anthony), Gianni (Megs), Guillermo (Nikole), Mateo (Stephanie).


Hultin NeilHULTIN, Neil Hultin  -  A longtime professor in the Department of English at the University of Waterloo, passed away on November 21, 2017 after a brief illness.

For the last two years he resided at the Columbia Forest Long Term Care home in Waterloo.

He is survived by his wife Beryl, their children Philip, Geoffrey and Karen, and grandchildren Aidan, Cameron, Ethan, Michael, David, Sarah and Benjamin.

Neil was born in Kenmare, North Dakota, the youngest child of Clarence Philip Hultin and Edith Eleanor Johnson Hultin. Neil's brother Carmen Philip ("Buddy") and sister Eileen were already teenagers when he was born.

Janet was an ambitious and loving woman who cared very deeply for her family.


Conforzi RaymondCONFORZI, Raymond Michael  -  Raymond fought so hard to come back to us, but lost his battle on Tuesday November 21, 2017 in his 65th year.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Susan and three children Ben, Katelynn and Josh and his mother in law, Mary Gatto.

He will also be missed by many other family and friends, especially his neighbours at Wahnekewaning Beach, the place he loved with all of his heart.

Lowe AnthonyLOWE, Anthony 'Tony'  -  As Tony said, 'I’ve had a good run.' Having climbed several peaks in the world, this recent health challenge was one he could not conquer.

Tony will never be forgotten by Frances, his best friend and wife of 46 years. Also, sister Margaret, brother Ben (Joyce), sister Maria (Jeremy), sister-in-law Barbara (Tony), brother-in-law John (Judy) and their families.

In 1964, on arrival in Canada from Yorkshire, England, Tony’s passion for rugby, (he played his last game at 55 years), introduced him to the Toronto Wanderers. Always ready with a humorous story for his friends, family and work colleagues, he will be missed.

Ferdinando Giuseppe Zanardo, in his 85th year, was the beloved husband of the late Luigia (nee De Lazzari) Zanardo (2013).

He was the loving father of Shawn, David and Susan (Michael) Farrar.

Ferdinando was the dear brother of Linda Rossi, Romeo Zanardo, and Maria Galante all of Italy.
