EDMONSON, Dorothy (Dot) Marie Amelia (Collins)  -  At age 79 of Cambridge, Ontario passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 10, 2017.

The matriarch of our family will be greatly missed.

Dorothy shared her life with Mitchell Edmonson her soulmate of 61 years.

Predeceased by her son Glenn. Dorothy leaves her love with son Douglas, daughter Theresa, grandchildren Michelle, Nathan, Rachel, James, and great grandchildren Mitchell, Monica, and Kyree.

Pipe GlennaPIPE, Glenna (nee Forsythe)  -  Passed  away peacefully at The Elliott Community on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the age of 95 years. 

Most dearly beloved wife for over 70 years of Leonard Pipe.        

Predeceased by her sister Helen Sevigny.

Glenna graduated in 1944 from the Victoria Public Hospital in Fredericton, NB after receiving her RN designation. Leonard recalled, during a stay in hospital, falling in love with his beautiful blue eyed nurse then later asking her for her hand in marriage. Glenna and Leonard married in 1947 and enjoyed a fulfilling life together.

Beloved wife of the late George Sharpe and Reg Clark. Loving mother of Ken Sharpe and Keith Sharpe (Carol) and stepmother of Judy Carle and Susan Vanatter. Proud grandma of Brad, Barry, Denise, Ray (predeceased), Christine (Keith McCulskie) and great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren.

Survived by her sister Mary Matlock.

Becker EileenBECKER, Eileen  -  It is with great sadness, the Becker family announces the passing of Eileen Marie Becker, age 87, peacefully at Spruce Lodge, Stratford on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Born in Logan Township, daughter of the late Harold and Theresa Cooper.

Eileen spent most of her time raising her children, being the wife of a soldier of World War II; she relished in the accomplishments of her grandchildren and she had a great sense of humour and had a fondness for animals. Eileen would never ever pass up a good Timbit.

Eileen was predeceased by her husband Gordon (1980), a brother Harold and by son-in-law Raymond Cook. Loving mother of Theda (Doug), Joanne Cook, Brian (Ann), Cheryl, Alex, Debbie and Karyn (Andrew).


METSKE, Simon  -  Passed away at Juravinski Hospital on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the age of 59. Simon went home to be with his Lord after a challenging life on this earth. He now has no more pain, his soul is free and he is safe in the arms of Jesus, never more to suffer.

He is reunited with his parents, the late Martin (March 13, 2001) and Antje 'Anne' Metske (February 26, 2008), and his sister Maria Barendregt-Spriel of Ingersoll.

Much loved brother of Martin Metske Jr (Roseanne) of Lucknow, and Henry Metske (Shirley) of Kirkwall. Brubacher RossBRUBACHER, Ross Denton  -  Passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at the age of 57 years. Following a last visit with his mother and brother, his loving staff assured him his purpose of bringing good into the world was fulfilled and that his dad was waiting for him. He died calmly and securely in the arms of a loving staff member. Ross lived and died with much love surrounding him, leaving his biological and Reid Woods families with many happy memories.

Predeceased by his father Curtis, Ross is survived by his mother Alice (Snider) Brubacher and siblings Lorrie (Dan Perlman), Maurice, and Sanford (Colette), four nieces and nephews, four great nieces and nephews, Erin Strain and many other loving staff and friends from Reid Woods. The family wishes to thank and acknowledge the love, care, and friendship provided by his Reid Woods family since 1991.

McALISTER, Edith Patricia (nee Martingale)  –  Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Hospice Wellington, in her 94th year. 

She was the loving wife of Ken (2013) for 68 years. 

Wonderful mother to Judy (Barrie), Jim (Debbie) and Dan (Cindy). Grandmother to Brad (Leah), Mark (Amber), Ashley (Chris), Lindsay (Jordan) and Caeleigh (Alex) and great-grandmother to Ethan, Reese and Olivia. 

She was an avid golfer, bowler, euchre and bingo player.
