STEPLOCK, Daniel Vincent - Peacefully passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital Friday August 11, 2017 with his loving family at his side.
Survived by his wife of 51 years Rena (neé Scullino ). Beloved father to Glenn (Sandy) and Lisa Krumpek (Steven). Very proud Grandpa to Cora and Tia, Matheson and Zachary.
Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Lillian; brothers Roy (Gilda) and Alex (Ann); sisters Vivian Sherwood (Richard), Marie Norman (Fred) and Una Hodges (Art).
Danny was a longtime employee of Westinghouse Canada and enjoyed an equally long and healthy retirement.
For many years he loved his gardens, puttering around the yard and tinkering with the cars. Every day he would bike around Burlington, well into his 80's; he loved his freedom and also made many fond memories spent on the Northern Lakes of Ontario fishing. Nothing, however could compare to being a Grandfather. He was always so proud of them all.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Dodsworth & Brown funeral home-Burlington chapel (2241 New Street) on Thursday August 17th at 11 am.
Expressions of sympathy to the SickKids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
