ANDERSON, Eileen Margaret - Passed away peacefully on November 13th, 2017, in her 87th year, after living courageously with ALS.
Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Donald Campbell Anderson (2013). Loving mother of Christine (Robert) Vander Pyl of Priddis AB, and Jane Anderson (Ross Cation) of Toronto ON, and predeceased by step daughter Victoria Troup (2000).
Loving Grandmother of Kaitlin and Kira Kirk. Sister of Stacey Lane, and John Anderson and his wife Celia, all of England. Eileen will be sadly missed by all of her extended family and friends.
Eileen taught physical education at LCVI. She was the president of the Overseas Women’s Association and a chairman of the Fortnightly Book Club.
Eileen enjoyed crafts with friends, and her time at the Lindsay Public Library as a librarian and then later with Friends of the Library.
As Per Eileen's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) Tuesday January 16, 2018 at 12 noon till time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 P.M.
