GUIRY, James Duncan - (October 11, 1933 - November 22, 2017) - It is with great sadness that the family of James Duncan Guiry announces his passing peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
He leaves behind his loving wife Barbara Jane (nee) Predhomme, their children Shawne Pehar, Paul (Debra) and Timothy, his sister Mona Chouinard (Bob) and he was predeceased by his brother John.
He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Erin, Ashleigh, John Ryan, Dylan, Shane, Alexandra, Stephen and James, and great-grandchildren Emily, Nathan, Miles and Lilia.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (1-877-427-8434) on Sunday, November 26th from 2 - 6 P.M. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday at 2:00 P.M.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, Downeyville, Ontario on Monday, November 27th at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery, Downeyville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
