CARMICHAEL, Joyce Bernice - while surrounded by the love of family, entered into rest at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Mary St., Lindsay on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
Joyce (nee Smith) at the age of 90, was the beloved wife of the late John Carmichael (2006).
Loving mother of Ron (Donna) of Lindsay, Bob (Susan) of Peterborough, Gary (Georgina) of Kitchener, Brad (Megan) of Collingwood and predeceased by her son Brian (2000).
Dear mother-in-law of Shelley Carmichael.
Joyce will be greatly missed by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dear sister of Ken (Mary) Smith, Kim (Marilyn) Smith, Dorothy Airey and predeceased by her sister Viola Wyatt and by her brother Jackie Smith.
Dear sister-in-law of Carol Richardson and predeceased by her brothers-in-law Fred Wyatt and Art Airey.
In keeping with Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A family remembrance service will be held at Eden Cemetery, Cambray with a date/time to be announced later.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family and may be arranged through the Stoddart Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 24 Mill St., Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205).
