PRESTON, Mary Evelyn - November 16, 1928 - September 2, 2018
Mary passed away peacefully in her 90th year after a courageous battle with cancer.
Married 56 years to her one true love, Russell (Red) Preston.
Loving mother of Linda, David (Joanne), and Jo-Anne (Cheeyen).
Devoted Nana to Andrew and Jordan; dear sister to Carole (Jim), Gloria, Ken, and Murray; beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Home and family were her all.
She will be sorely missed by friends and loved ones alike.
Mary wore a smile year round and warmed a room with her vivacious sense of humour.
Her positive outlook on life gave her more strength than she knew; she was feisty to the end.
"Mourn a little, live a lot".
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Friends and relatives will be received at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas St. E., Whitby, Ont. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 9:30AM, until time of service at 10:30AM.
Interment at Highland Memory Gardens in Toronto.
