BOWLES, Joan Alma - It is with heartfelt sorrows that the family of Joan Bowles announces her passing on September 5th, 2018.
Joan passed away surrounded by her family in her 85th year.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Hugh Bowles.
Joan is predeceased by her siblings Kevin, Gerard, Elaine, Marjorie and Audrey and leaves behind her other siblings Tom, Doug, Lena and Lois.
Joan will be missed by her children Perry (Paula), Verna (Nick), Terrance (Diana) and Tracey (Rocco).
Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Zachary (Nikki), Kevin (Tanya), Cody, Lacey (Cory), Kayla, Justin (Alyssa) and Jade whom she loved all unconditionally.
Joan’s family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for their dedication, care and support at the hospital.
Friends may call on the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Friday, September 7th, 2018 from 2 – 4pm & 6 - 9pm. Prayers will take place at 8PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH (Simcoe Street & Adelaide) on Saturday, September 8th at 10am. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made out to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
