DROUIN, Bonnie – With great sadness, we announce the loss of our Mom, Bonnie Drouin (née Welling), age 71 on September 12th, 2018.
Best friend and wife of the late Donnie Drouin.
Bonnie leaves behind her 3 children, Donald Drouin, Michelle (Charlie) Ballach, and was lovingly reunited with her second oldest son Ron (Suzette) Lootsma and their 3 sons Rory, Callum and Holden.
Bonnie was the proud Nannie of Braxtyn and Aryss.
The girls will miss their Denny’s dates with her.
Bonnie was the oldest of 8, including Frank (Madeline), Stephen (Shirley), Fred (Kerry), Anne, John, Michael, and Elizabeth (Eugene). She was a wonderful and caring aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed many evenings with her card-playing partners and has created many lasting memories with her lifelong friends.
Friends will be received at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby on September 14th from 2 – 4pm & 7 – 9pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL on Saturday, September 15th at 11:00am.
Interment at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, followed by a reception at the funeral home.
If so desired, donations may be made in Bonnie’s name to the Lakeridge Health Foundation - R.S. McLaughlin Durham Region Cancer Centre.
