FERRIGAN, Edith Ferrigan (nee Ranger)  - Peacefully passed away at Glenhill Strathaven in Bowmanville on Wednesday September 5, 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald Ferrigan of Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.

Loving mother of Thomas Ferrigan (Tammy), Colleen (Rob Cairns), Marlene (Lloyd Joe) and James Ferrigan (Carole Ranger).

Cherished grandma of Sean (Kimberly), Christopher, Paul, Andrew, Anne, Jennifer, Sarah (Stephen). Step-nana of Niki, Lana and Theresa, and sadly missed by her 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Dear sister of Claudia (Maurice Sullivan).

She was predeceased by her parents Paul Pat Ranger & Bernadette (nee Beauchamp), as well as siblings Ben, Bertha, Crystal, Hazel, Vincent, Martina (John Payette), Willard (Millie), Andrew, Rene (Frances), Marion (Leo Callaghan) and Vivian (Orval Clarke).

She is survived by her best friend Louise Houston and many nieces and nephews. Edith worked at The World’s Biggest Bookstore in Toronto where she enjoyed a variety of books and literature.

She thoroughly enjoyed her work & friends at OMERS, from where she retired in 1992.

At Edith’s request no funeral service will be held.

A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
