MEENS, Frans Josef - September 23rd, 1936 – October 28th, 2018
Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, October 28th, 2018.
Frans is survived by his wife Anne (KleinNienhuis), daughters Michelle (Jeff Garrow) and Nicole (Glen Miller), grandchildren Collin Garrow, Madeline Garrow and Emmeline Meens Miller and great grandson Griffin Garrow.
He was born in the Netherlands and will be missed by his family here and overseas, as well as his soccer team mates and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville, on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 from 12:00 noon until time Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
In memory of Frans, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Durham Region or a charity of your choice.
