POOLE, Ross Arthur - 68 of Whitby Ontario, passed away peacefully after a short battle with Cancer on Saturday October 20, 2018 at his favourite place Kushog Lake, surrounded by his family and friends.
Ross was born in Toronto on November 9th 1949 to Kathryn Ross-Poole and Gordon Poole.
Ross was passionate about his work as an Electrical and Mining Engineer, he was very accomplished in his field. In his later years he enjoyed managing his wife Karen’s medical practice.
Ross was a loving husband to Karen (nee Dockrill) loving father to his 3 sons, Sean (Lori), Kevin (Regan) and Jeff (Ashly) and a doting grandfather to his grandchildren.
Ross is survived by his siblings Nancy (Gerry), Duncan (Denise) and Brian. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as his friends. Ross in death as in life was always surrounded by his family and friends.
A memorial will be hosted November 25th at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 112, 117 Byron St. Whitby.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
