ROY, Peggy (Margaret Jean) - 1952 - 2018 Passed away peacefully on November 7, 2018 at the Uxbridge Cottage hospital.
Originally from Riverfield, Quebec; Peggy was predeceased by her parents Jean Muir and Donald Roy.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Ashley Duffy, his daughters Michele and Jennifer (Geoff Smith) and their children Ashlyn and Justin, Ryan and Andrew.
As well as many good friends and cousins with whom she enjoyed special times, travels, golf and curling.
Following a career with the Federal Government in Ottawa and Toronto, Peggy decided Law School would be her next step. After moving to Uxbridge, she joined the Michael L. Fowler Law Office and enjoyed a second career as a lawyer.
Many thanks to the wonderful home care and hospital staff as well as dear friends and family who provided their steadfast support throughout Peggy's illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 24th 2018 from 1pm to 4pm at the Uxbridge Curling Club, 70 Franklin Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
