CAKY, Elizabeth - age 94, peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
Elizabeth is survived by her ever loving son Miron, as well as her three grandsons Myron, Martin and Andrew.
She will also be fondly remembered by her two great grandchildren, Ethan and Mia.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her brave husband, Michael and two sisters, Irena and Maria.
Elizabeth grew up in the former Czechoslovakia, emigrating to a new life in Canada in 1968, where her husband Michael was already settled.
She lived in Oshawa her whole life, acting as the foundation for her family and helping care for her grandchildren. Baba will be greatly missed by her family and all those who met and knew her.
The funeral for Elizabeth was held on Wednesday, November 21st, with internment at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, in Whitby.
