GYORFFY, Steve – Proud public servant for Province of Ontario for 30 years as a Probation Officer for youth and adults – Passed away peacefully at University Hospital in London on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at the age of 63.
Predeceased by his wife Diane Gyorffy.
He leaves behind his partner Linda Smale, sister Liz Gyorffy, step daughter Joy Stewart (Eyal Perelman), granddaughters Ella and Adel.
Will be fondly remembered by his friends and colleagues.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday December 6th from 6 – 9 pm.
Evening prayers will be held at 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday December 7, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 194 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Trillium Gift of Life or the Humane Society of Durham Region would be greatly appreciated, and may be made, along with condolences by visiting armstrongfh.ca.
