HEWAK, Anna (nee Kolotyka) - Passed away peacefully on January 8, 2019 in Toronto, at the age of 96.
Born November 5, 1922 in Krakovets, Ukraine, Anna was the beloved wife of the late Petro Hewak and the late Walter Chrobak.
Much loved mother to Steve (Cheryl), Marie, and Terry (Sandra).
Lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased in Ukraine by her sisters Katyrina, Eustyna and Julia, and her parents Maria and Fedir Kolotyka.
A private family funeral was held, and interment took place at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Cemetery in Courtice.
The family would like to express their deepest thanks to all thestaff at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre for their kindness and support over the years, and especially to Jennifer and Trudy for their compassionate care during these final weeks.
