Wildman JohnWILDMAN, John 'Murray' - (January 15, 1938January 24, 2019) -

Peacefully surrounded by family in his 82nd year, on January 24th, 2019.

Beloved husband of June Wildman (nee Moorse) and the late Sandra Wildman (nee Bennion).

Loving Dad of Dave (Theresa), Bob (Patty), Mike (Sarah), Mark (Wendy), Karen Reid (Chris), Scott (Christine).

Loving Stepfather to Christine Moorse (Rudy) and Shirley Pike (Dave).

Cherished Grandpa of Joshua, Matt, Justin, Sarah, Dallas, Emily, Cassie, Maggie, Kyah, Leah, Hayden, Kaden, Carlie, Liam and Maddie.

Murray was a longtime member of St. George’s Memorial Anglican Church. He was an enthusiastic member of the choir, assistant organist and former Warden for three years. He was also a Choir Master and Organist at many other churches in the GTA.

Murray was a retired CPA, formerly employed as Controller at Starcan Corp and Fittings Ltd. He was also a member of the Oshawa Tennis Club and the Beech Street Spinners.

Murray will be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends.

Sincere thank you to the staff at Hillsdale for their support, care and compassion for Murray and his family.

Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, February 22nd from 6 – 8 p.m.

Celebration of Life will be held at ST. GEORGE’S MEMORIAL ANGLICAN CHURCH, 51 Centre Street South, Oshawa, on Saturday, February 23rd at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Humane Society, Sick Kids Toronto, St. George’s Memorial Anglican Church or Alzheimer Society.
