GITTENS, Errolene Patricia  - (November 18th, 1936 – April 24th, 2019)

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Pat at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, Ontario, with her daughters by her side.

Dear mother of Alison Patricia Gittens of Oshawa, Ontario and Paula Dianne Gittens (Christopher John March) of Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Loving grandmother of Nicholas Jeffrey Don Gooding, Griffin Tyler Gittens March and Ethan John Gittens March.

Devoted sister of Phedelia Delores Arnold of Edmonton, Alberta.

Predeceased by her sisters Colleen Rowena Yolanda Levine and Shirley Jeanett Hyacinthe Heron, and brother William Donovan Bruce Ashby.

A retired Registered Nurse of Oshawa, she is lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and caring friends. The family greatly appreciates the excellent and compassionate care she received from Dr. Mohapatra and the staff at Hillsdale Estates Long-Term Care, Oshawa.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, April 29th from 7 – 9 p.m. with prayers at 8:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE PARISH, 570 Marion Avenue, Oshawa) on Tuesday, April 30th at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
