In his 92nd year.
Born in Ringwood, Ontario to the Late Mable and Winnfred Timbers.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Leatrice Jane Timbers (Nicholson).
Beloved Father of Karen Timbers Riggs and her husband Paul, Barry Timbers and his wife Cheryl, and Gregory Timbers and his wife Diane.
Cherished Grandfather of Michelle (Marc), Heather, Sharon (Mike), Beth (Adam), Trevor (Stephanie), Rebecca (Jason), and Shawn (Mckenzie).
Proud Great Grandfather of Robert, Katherine (Nikolas), Megan & Matthew, Emily & Avery, Bruce & Elizabeth, Ryan , and Great, Great Grandfather of Jakob.
Robert is survived by his Sister Dorothy Doner, and predeceased by his brother Bruce, Sister Irene, and Grandson Neil Timbers.
With love for life he enjoyed his family, travelling the world, and finding pleasure in many varied pastimes. A part of our hearts he took with him, but his love he left us to keep. We will never really be parted; the bond is so deep.
In Father’s Memory, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Sandford Community Centre 433 Sandford Rd, Uxbridge, on Sunday May 19, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, with Remembrances at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of Flowers, donations to the Canadian Plowing Organization, Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, the SickKids Foundation, or a CHARITY of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
