McLACHLAN, Waveney Jean McLachlan - Jean passed at 12:30 p.m. on June 11, 2019, a bright sunny day at Shepherd Lodge, Toronto, Ontario.
A day on which her body, but not her spirit called an end to a long and loving life, lived for and with her family that she treasured above all else.
Although her last few years were depleted by the relentless onset of Alzheimer’s disease, her character and dignity were undiminished and her warm smile and sense of humor was felt by all who came in contact with her.
She leaves behind her children, Judith Kay and Virginia Brown and her grandchildren, Wayne and Melissa Brown and A.J. Kay.
A Funeral Service will be held at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, on Friday June 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the chapel. The Family requests that everyone wear colourful clothing to the Funeral Service.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
