DOCIMO, Emilio Fiore - January 24, 1921 – June 12, 2019
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 at the age of 98.
Predeceased by his wife Italia (nee Cuzzolino).
Cherished father of Antonietta, Francesca and Dino Fusarelli, Rosemary and Rick Davies, Gino Docimo, Cenzino and Laurie Docimo.
Dear grandfather of Esterina, Benny, Gino, Dino Jr, Erminia (Amy), Gina and Angela; Eric, Beth, Martin and Isabelle; Jennifer, Nicholas and Amanda; Paul and Stephanie.
Loving great grandfather of 4. Emilio arrived in Canada on May 8th, 1958 where he landed in Halifax.
His favourite things to do were gardening and cooking delicious food for his family.
The family would like to thank Extendicare for their care and compassion to Emilio.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Sunday, June 16th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 17th, at 1:00 p.m. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated.
