SHIELDS, Joyce Audrey (Edgar) - (1934 - 2019) -
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Audrey Shields (Edgar) suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on June 22nd, 2019.
Predeceased by her husband, Jerry, she is survived by her children, Cathy (Gord), Sherri-Lynn (Dave), Jamie, Jo-Anne (Glenn), Michelle (Vern) and Sue (Steve).
Grandma to Chris (Jewell), Tim, Amanda (Ty), Shaun, Melissa, Jamie-Lee (Jeremy), Katlyn, Jennifer, Lexy and Michael. Great-grandmother to Trysta, Grayden, Brody, Nathan, Charlie and Nevaeh.
Special thanks and gratitude to the staff at Fairview Lodge in Whitby for their care and compassion given to our mother during her stay there.
Family was everything to Joyce and she will be dearly missed but we know she will always be watching over us. We love you Mom.
Arrangements entrusted with THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE - PICKERING, 1057 Broad Road, Pickering, Ontario. Visitation there on Wednesday, June 26th from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service there at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, Ajax at 2:30 p.m.
