KILBURN, Alice Dwayne - At Hillsdale Terraces, on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in her 83rd year.
Most precious mother and best friend to her loving daughter and caregiver, Tracy Kilburn (John Saarinen) and her son Jay Kilburn (Sharron).
Dear big sister to Carol Ann Neill (Hugh). Aunt to nephews Darren, Brent and Troy Neill.
She was the worshipped and dearly loved Bamma to her three grandchildren, Kailee Kilburn (Kevin), Alec Kilburn, and Hannah Kilburn.
There will be a lot less pink in their lives now.
Mom will also be deeply missed by her wonderful friend and love of 35 years, Larry Parkes. Our mom successfully battled against a lot of illness, hardship and heartache over the years. Her resiliency was both admirable and truly amazing.
For the first time in quite some while, she is truly at peace, mentally, physically and spiritually. God granted Mom a truly swift, peaceful and honorable exit.
She was undoubtedly met with eternal hugs at Heaven’s Gate by her special Daddy Bill McCourt and amazing Mom Alice (nee Jackson).
Anyone who would like to say their farewells and pay their respects, can join us to celebrate Mom’s life.
Visitation will take place at 1pm, with a service to follow at 2pm, at St. Matthews Anglican Church in Oshawa, on Wednesday July 3, 2019.
