KELLY, Lisa - (October 12, 1970 - July 23, 2019)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce, after a courageous battle, Lisa peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
Loving mom of Emily.
Cherished daughter of Bob and Nancy Kelly. Adored sister of Cindy McCredie (Scott) and Kathy McDermid (Doug). Enthusiastic “dog mom” of Gracie and Willow.
Lisa will be especially missed by her devoted partner Derek MacCarl as well as by her former husband Phil Stewart.
She leaves behind many extended family and friends. Lisa had a passion for teaching music and did so for over 20 years in the Durham community.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will take place at THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 1pm followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for the Durham Humane Society or Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
