KIRBY, Marcella (nee McNeil) - (November 25, 1931 – July 8, 2019) -
Daughter of the late Roderick McNeil and Sarah McNeil (nee Butts)
Marcella passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, July 8, 2019, in her 88th year.
Beloved wife of the late Walter A. Kirby and loving mother to her six daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marcella will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a grandmother to her twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Marcella loved holidays and family get-togethers, any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. We thank her for all the wonderful memories that will never be forgotten.

A funeral service was held on Friday, July 12th, when family gathered to celebrate Marcella’s life. She has been laid to rest next to Walter at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
