WRIGHT, George Almer - (January 27th, 1933 - August 29, 2019)
On August 29th, 2019 peacefully passed away at Cityview Retirement in Ottawa, ON.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Carole Joyce Wright (McKarney).
Lovingly remembered by his siblings; predeceased by Robert, Dorothy, Gladys (Dan), Carol and Joyce.
Lovingly remembered by his children; Evelyn Kovacs, Kelly Ralph, Tom Carswell-Wright, Sean Wright (Kerry).
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren; Ian, Sharon, David, Jordan, Samantha, Amanda, Elliot, Marshal & Meah, also remembered by his 8 great-grand children, nieces and nephews.
George was an employee of Durham Region for 27 years. Prior to this, he was a brick layer by trade.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Friday September 6th from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Burial at Mount Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society.
