Peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the age of 83.
Loving husband of his childhood sweetheart, the late Verna Mages.
Devoted father of Steven (Lynda), Nancy (Bob), and the late Linda and father in law of Darren Bowles.
Cherished Grampy to Barry, Corrine, Trystan, Darren, Sheri, Jason, Joshua, Ryan and Shayla.
Adopted Grampy to many. Proud great grampy to Zachary, Mackenzie, Kaelea, Bella, Jaiden, Hailey, Holden, Tyler, Lucas, Emerson and Ava.
Dear brother to Mary Anderson, David Pink and the late Doris, Sylvia Mages, Kenny and Jack Pink and brother in law to Gord, Bob, Barbara, Brenda, Eileen and the late Larry. Stan will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
A Legion and Memorial service will be held at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (905-443-3376) on Saturday September 7th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with memorial visitation to begin at 1:00 p.m.
