FEETHAM, Luke Edward Feetham  - July 13, 1941 – September 9, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luke Edward Feetham at the age of 78.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Son of Edward and Dolores Feetham.

Beloved husband of Myrna (Mead) for 54 wonderful years, and father of Blake, Shelly (Tim) and Tanya (Jean-Paul). Loved by his grandchildren Zachary, Carter, Mercedes and Brody. Will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters; Marion (Charles), John (Bea), Wayne (Odette), Barbara and Richard (Gail), as well as his numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

For over 30 years he touched many people and communities through Greater Durham Special Olympics. He volunteered his time, worked with so many athletes and teams throughout.

He shared his life’s experience through community councils and various sports as coach and team manager.

His guidance will forever be extended to the many members for years to come.
Luke was a long time employee of the Bank of Montreal for over 40 years. Once he retired, he continued to be a part of their community working with the Pensioner’s Committee on their annual luncheon every year.

He was a mentor to so many. A rare classic example of how one person can impact and mould so many in how to be there for everyone, and yet still be there for his family.

A celebration of life will be held on October 26th, 2019 at the West Shore Community Centre in Pickering from 4pm to 8 pm.
