SODUK, Anna - Passed away and was finally at peace on the morning of Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in Oshawa.
She was in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Jaroslaw Soduk (2010).
Predeceased by her son Michael (2009). Loving mother of Natalie and Bryant Wood, Port Hope.
Proud and loving Baba to her three grandsons Warren, Alec and Nathan.
Anna immigrated to Canada from Kalnikow, Poland in 1969.
Family and friends will remember her by her fantastic Ukrainian and Polish cooking, as well as her always beautiful gardens. This is where she was happiest. Some years ago, her front garden won ‘Garden of the Week’ from the City of Oshawa.
Visitation and Panachyda will be held on Friday, September 20th from 5-7 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E.), Oshawa.
There will be a Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial at ST. GEORGE THE GREAT MARTYR UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (42 Lviv Blvd), Oshawa on Saturday, September 21st at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery in Courtice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church.
