Pavlisko GeorgePAVLISKO, George - (May 4th, 1928 -  October 2nd, 2019) 

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of George (Juraj) Pavlisko, at the age of 91 years, after a courageous battle with Alzheimers.

George passed away peacefully at home in his sleep, with his loving wife Angela of 62 years by his side.

He immigrated to Canada over 70 years ago from Detrik, Slovakia, where he made a life for himself in Oshawa where he worked and raised a family.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Ron (Karen) and Susanne (Vic) and five grandchildren Marcus, Rilee, Shalyn, Brandon and Joshua.

Predeceased by his brother Mike. Will be sadly missed by his brother Nick and sisters Susie and Maria and many relatives and friends.

George was a retired employee of Duplate/PPG with 30 years of service and dedicated member of the Slovak Community and Past President of the Slovak League.

Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Sunday October 6th from 1-4 pm and on Monday October 7th from 10-11 am.

Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home capel on Monday, October 7th at 11am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
