BOBYK, Paranka (nee Borysiak) - Peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in her 96th year.
She was born in Iwacziw, Ternopil, Ukraine.
Beloved wife of the late Mykola Bobyk. Loving mother of Orest (Rita) and Vera (Harry) and the late Irena (Walter).
Proud and loving Baba of Oksana, Tania, Alexander, Steven, Mykola, Harry Jr., Holly, Katelyn and Great-Baba of Lukyan, Nicole and Yulian.
Paranka will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends in Canada and Ukraine. She was an active member of the Oshawa Ukrainian Catholic community.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). Panachyda will be held at 7:30 pm.
Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 8th at 10 a.m. at ST. GEORGE THE GREAT MARTYR UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (42 Lviv Blvd., Oshawa).
Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery.
