GLEASON, Robert Douglas (Bob) - July 25, 1943 – October 3, 2019
Passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 3, 2019.
Loving son of late Douglas and Willa Gleason.
Survived by dear wife Joan (Mason) of 53 years.
Loving father to Jeff Gleason and Mandy Barrett (Gleason).
Father-in-law to Andrew Barrett and Stacy Jewell. Brother to Dennis Gleason and Nancy Dubois (Gleason). Brother-in-law to Lynn Gleason, Jean Paul Dubois and Jim and Francine Mason.
Cherished Uncle Boo Boo to many nieces and nephews. Awesome Papa to Sydney, Cody Harris, Reilly, Kennedy, Mason, Katelynn, Stephanie, Amy and Amber.
Great Grandpa to Carson, Arielle and Isabella. Bob was known to always greet you with a smile and a goofy joke or story.
He loved classic cars and had a great passion for all things railroad. In his earlier days, Bob was actively involved for many years in the Boy Scouts of Canada as a Scout Leader.
Funeral service to be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, 541 Taunton Rd. West, Ajax. Following the service, family and friends are welcome to join us for a “Celebration of Life” at The Edge Lounge, 250 Bayly St. W., Ajax (in plaza behind Pizza Hut) from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Breast Cancer Research would be greatly appreciated.
