Von Zuben PaulVON ZUBEN, Paul Clifford “Rusty”   - Passed away peacefully, after a valiant battle, on October 24, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa surrounded by his loving family. 

Adored soulmate of Donna.

Cherished dad of Emily and Sarah and “adopted” daughter Hillary.

Loving son of Paul and Mary-Jo.

Beloved brother of John (Christina), Terry (Heather), Jamie (Sonya) and late sister Amer.

Paul was a nephew of John Grainery and a loving uncle of William, Michael, David, Andrew, Caeleigh, Katherine, Amie, Laura, Claire and Matthew.

Cherished Brother-in-Law of Mark (Brian) and Paul (Grace).

He will be missed by his extended family and many friends.

He will be forever remembered for his great strength, courage, love and infectious smile.

He was indeed a friend to all.

The family wish to extend their gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa, especially nurse Mandy and Dr. Graham and Dr. Kadakia for care and professionalism shown to Paul and his family.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at THORNTON CEMETERY and  FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 11 am – 1 pm.

A private interment will follow.

Donations will be gratefully accepted for Heath Place Cancer Support Centre.
