SHEPHERD, Robert John   -  1936 – 2019  It is with much sadness we say goodbye to Bob who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital surrounded by his family.

With much strength, courage and determination after being diagnosed with cancer, Bob lived the last four months of his life doing what he loved to do.

It was all about quality of life for Bob not so much about quantity.

He had comfort knowing he had lived a very rich and fulfilling life at the age of 83.

Family was most important and he can feel proud in the legacy he has left behind.  Survived by brother Paul Shepherd, Loving wife Ann of 61+ years, 4 Children – Lynda Sauder, Paul Shepherd (Ann), Laura Brunne (Chris – deceased), Teresa Carr (Doug), 13 Grandchildren – Mitch Sauder (Tanya), Alex Ireland (Jesse), Mark Sauder (Alexandra), Daniel Shepherd, David Shepherd, James Shepherd, Darren Brunne (Ali), Nicole Brunne (Luke), Amanda Brunne, Curtis Carr, Emily Carr, Jack Carr, Douglas Carr and 4 Great Grandchildren – Jett Sauder, Camdon Sauder, Ivy Sauder and Brie Brunne.

Special thank you to Dr. Bryon, Dr. Jenson, Dr. Dayal, Dy. Hajra, Dr. Monawari and all the nurses and home caregivers for your support, guidance, care and understanding during these difficult months.

A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. at Uxbridge Wooden Sticks (40 Elgin Park Drive, Uxbridge).

If desired memorial donations to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
