PLEASANCE, John Arthur - John Arthur Pleasance of Bowmanville, Ontario passed away November 15, 2019 in Picton, Ontario in his 78th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Linda (Vanhaverbeke) Pleasance for 51 years.
Loving father of Remi (Vanessa) and Renee (Vern).
Beloved Poppa of Julian Pleasance, Joshua, Benjamin and Cassandra Carman.
Beloved brother of Bertha White (Carman deceased), Vickie (John) Reynolds, and Carol (Bill) Lambert.
Beloved Brother-in-law of Jim (Elise) and Ed (Sylvia) Vanhaverbeke and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his father Bertie Pleasance, his mother Victoria Stevenson, brothers; Tom, Bill, Alfred, Macolm, Bertie and sisters Minni and Patricia. Son-in-law of Laura and Remi Vanhaverbeke(deceased).
A Visitation will take place on Saturday November 23, 2019 from 10 – 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 214 King Avenue East, Newcastle, Ontario, followed by a Funeral Mass at the church, followed by a reception.
Donations can be made to the H.J . McFarland Memorial Home or the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital.
