BENNETT, Thomas George - (Past President, founder Cystic Fibrosis)
(1932 - 2019) - Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday November 30, 2019.
Beloved husband to Mary-Lee Bennett and the late Joan Bennett.
Cherished father to David (Susan) Bennett, Norm (Violet) Bennett, Kim (Ron MacFarlane), Kerry (Brian Bird), Trudy (Tracy Hallman), Joe (Nicole) Maika and Kelly (Rick Maika-Bellamy). Predeceased by son Dennis Bennett.
Devoted Poppo to Tyler, Connor, Brandon, Brittany, Josh, Sara, Jacob and Ashley. Tom will be sadly missed by his extended family, friends and all who knew him.
Friends will be received at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby, on Saturday December 7th from 1 - 3 pm, with service in the chapel at 3 pm, followed by reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada in memory of Tom's name.
