ROBINSON, Montie   - July 11, 1970 - January 21, 2020

Montie passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, Ontario on January 21, 2020 at the tender age of 49, after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer.

He passed surrounded by his loved ones at his bedside.

Dearly beloved son of Linda (Hall) & the late Gary Robinson.

Loving father of Cindy (Kyle) & Nicholas (Meghan).

Cherished Poppa of Rikeelynn & Raven.

Adored companion of Lesli Down.

Dear youngest brother of Joanne (Ben) Marchand, Gord (Donna), Cyndi, Tim, Anne (Dave) Hogarth.

Loving uncle to seventeen niece's and nephew's and great uncle to many. Fondly remembered by aunts, uncles cousins & dear friends. Montie will be remembered for his exceptional, passionate career in transportation.

Serving as a long haul transport truck driver from a very young age. He was also an attentive transit driver in Durham Region for several years.

Receiving 4 consecutive Safe Driving awards from the Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario.

Montie was a cherished driver with Central Taxi in Belleville for several years, as well as a very prevalent personal driver in the Northumberland County. His sense of humour and undeniable charm will be forever missed by all who crossed his path.

It will be commemorated that Montie had a lot of unfortunate events unfold in his life, but always persevered and was extremely resilient; even in his final days.

Most importantly, Montie will be cherished for his charismatic personality and the love he had for people.

As per Monties wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday July 11, 2020 at 104 King Street East in Oshawa, Ontario from 1-5 PM.
