NELSON, Marion Isobel (Cole) - Marion went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020.
Marion passed away peacefully at Oshawa Lakeridge Health.
Originally from Owen Sound, Marion was in her 92nd year.
Marion worked for Bell Canada in Owen Sound and was a long time employee of the Oshawa Clinic.
During her short illness, she maintained her sense of humor and smiles enjoying each day with family and friends.
Beloved wife of Orval for almost 70 years. Loving mother of John (Barbara), Paul (Karen) and Jim (Michelle).
Amazing Nanny to Brad, Sarah, Lindsay (Enzo), Andrew, Mark (Amanda), Matthew, Meredith, Emilie and James and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents William and Sarah (Linn) Cole form Owen Sound and her twin brother William (Claire) from Eckville, Alberta. Our thanks to the support and care given at the Acute Medical Clinic, 7th floor and Palliative care at Oshawa Lakeridge Health.
Visitation will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby, on Tuesday February 4th, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Followed by the Service at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel.
Memorial donations to the Gideons would be appreciated by the family.
