PRIOR, Marion Prior - February 24, 1927-February 4, 2020
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marion Prior in her 93rd year on February 4th, 2020 with her loved ones at her side.
Beloved wife of Peter for almost 70 years, she was the love of his life.
She was the loving mother of Sheila (Gary), Carol (Ken), and Alec (Loretta), the much loved grandmother of Cory, Jennifer, Margaret (Brendan), Matthew (Sarah), Emily (Steffan) and Alan, and great-grandmother of Noah, Isaac, Lily, Scarlett, and Aria. She is predeceased by her cherished brothers, Alec and Bobby.
Marion loved music and with her beautiful singing voice she took part in several choirs.
She was very involved with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 258 where she eventually became president of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a dedicated volunteer for many years at the Legion’s Tony Stacey Long Term Care Centre.
She loved to travel, particularly back to her hometown of Southport, England to visit with family.
Marion will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
