ARMSTRONG, Joan (nee Fowler) Armstrong - It is with great sadness that we share the news of Joan’s passing on March 3, 2020.
She was a proud Mother of 3, Grandmother of 7, Great-Grandmother of 6, Sister-in-Law to Jim Fowler and Donna Atkins, and Friend to many.
She will be missed the most by Mike, Vicki, Mitchell and Nicole.
Joan loved her euchre and bingo days with her seniors group in Ajax, loved the summer months sitting on the porch and in the backyard, and her visits to Florida.
Family and friends are blessed with many cherished memories.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on 2E at Lakeridge Health Ajax for their dedication, compassion and professionalism during Joan’s stay as they were like family to us in this difficult time.
Visitation will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, Sunday, March 8th 1:00-3:00 p.m., followed by a few words in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to COPD Foundation.
