BATTISTA, Nicola Battista - June 24, 1931 - March 20, 2020
Nicola Battista passed away peacefully with his daughter Rosa by his side.
Always grateful to be surrounded by family and friends, Nick forever entertained us with songs of his youth.
Although 88 years young, age did not stop Nick from climbing trees and tending to his garden.
Nicola had a strong commitment to his faith and to his fellow brothers and sisters of The Kingdom Hall.
Survived by his wife Venerina and predeceased by Anna-Maria Battista.
Father to Rosa Corturillo & stepfather to Filippo Casamento. Survived by his brother Alfonso & Step-sister Giuseppina.
Loving grandfather to Marylynn (Joe), Joanna (Andrew), Loredana (Joe).
A cherished great Grandfather to Alexa, Sam, Nick & Mackenzie.
He will be tremendously missed for his humour and silliness and his genuine kindness to others.
In light of current events, the family will be holding a private ceremony.
