MacCOLLUM, Heather - It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Heather Grace MacCollum at the early age of 54 in Oshawa, on March 11th, 2020.
Heather was the loving mother of Keith, dearest sister to Linda Newman and her husband Frank of Breslau, and to Graham Perry and his wife Janette of Bowmanville, a special aunt to Lindsay, David, Matthew, Laura, Eric and Alison, and great aunt to Ari, Sadie, Audrey, Carter and Bridget, while also being a devoted cat parent to Gwen.
She will be deeply missed by her “adopted” family in Oshawa.
Living in Oshawa for most of her life, she served as an enthusiastic candy striper at Oshawa General Hospital in her teens and then worked at various branches of Canada Trust in Oshawa and later at Pickering Centre for almost 30 years. Her care and concern for others came through every day in her customer service role.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date due to the Coronavirus.
