CURRIE, Andrew Currie - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Andy (Andrew) Currie on April 2, 2020.
Toronto Police Officer for the Mounted Unit from 1965-1992.
Andy our hero, loving husband, father and grandfather died suddenly at his home on April 2, 2020 of a heart attack. He loved his wife, family and dog Max.
Andy was above all passionate and proud of all of his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed, but will be remembered often, and never forgotten. He leaves us with great memories, and has also built into us lessons and examples that we will carry with us.
We are so thankful to him for his impact and influences that he leaves with us.
The family would like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest appreciation for the thoughtfulness presented to us and the love we have been given following Dads sudden passing.
As concerns increase around the COVID-19 the health, safety and well-being of our friends and family our priority.
As much, we have made the decision to postpone the funeral.
We will have a private family celebration of life at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
