Kelly BrianKELLY, Brian  - (June 11th, 1932 - April 20th, 2020)

It is with heavy hearts we announce that on Monday, April 20th, 2020, our adored dad peacefully passed away with his wife at his side at Orchard Villa Long Term Care in Pickering ON.

Much loved and devoted husband of Margaret (nee Ward) for 66 years.

His pride and joy were always his family.

Beloved father of Linda Melanson (Paul) and Steven (Andrea).

Loving grandad of Susan Di llio (Marco), Jerry Melanson (Brigitte), Sean (Ashley), Patricia Brezina (Robert) and Janice Yerex (Galen). Adored great grandad of Braiedon, Nyla, Drake, Nathan, Sawyer, Aria, Kai and Oliver.

Lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends in Canada and England.

Born in Birmingham, UK (1932), he served 3 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps (1950-1953).  He emigrated with the family in 1969 to his second home, Canada.

He retired from Ontario Hydro in 1997 and spent much of his leisure time, with the family, soaking up the rays on Pigeon Lake.

A passionate Bluenose who had unbridled support for his beloved Birmingham City Football Club, Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays.

Heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful heroes at Orchard Villa Long Term Care. Your dedication, professionalism, care and support for Dad, particularly during this difficult time, is truly appreciated – God bless you all!

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date when gatherings are allowed once again.

Memorial donations in memory of Dad to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
