HALL, Ingrid Marlis (nee Knipping) - (1940 - 2020) -

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ingrid Marlis Hall. Ingrid passed away peacefully on May 12, 2020 at the age of 80 at the Extendicare Rouge Valley in Scarborough.

Born in Dusseldorf, Germany on January 13, 1940, Ingrid emigrated to Canada with her family to Toronto where she later met her future husband George.

At the age of 14, Ingrid was one of Toronto's fastest sprinters in her age category.

A dedicated, loving and caring mother and wife, Ingrid and George enjoyed many well-deserved vacations to the south after the children were raised.

Ingrid is survived by husband George, sister Ellen, brother Klaus, and her three children, George, Bruce and Brian. Grandmother to Tammy, Ashley, Scott, Deanna, Daniel and Cameron and great grandmother to Carter and Owen. Predeceased by grandson Christopher.

She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends, whom she truly loved and valued.

A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date.

The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers for their outstanding care and compassion for Ingrid over the years.
